Dmitriy E. Bogdanov was born on January 28, 1982,  in Grodno ( Belarus).

Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL).

In 2004 he graduated with honors from the Law Faculty of Belgorod State University.

2005 – defended PhD thesis on "Liability Transactions in Civil Law of the Russian Federation" at Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

2005-2006 – worked as an Assistant Lecturer, and, then, as a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of Belgorod State University, as a legal adviser at KKO CJSC  Vneshtorgbank Retail Services in Belgorod.

2006-2015 – Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law of All-Russian State University of Justice (Russian Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation).

2010 – advanced professional training under the program "Psychological and Pedagogical Aspects and Educational and Methodical Technologies of improving the quality of teaching at a University" (Russian Academy of Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation).

2012 – awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Law.

2014 – internship in the Department of Economic Legislation of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation concerning "The Stance and Prospects of Legislation in the Russian Federation».

2015 – defended the Doctoral Dissertation "Justice as a Foundation of Civil Liability in the Russian and Foreign Law" in the Dissertation Council at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA under the RF President).

2015 – participated in the International Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Modern Educational Technologies in Educational Organizations" (Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation).

2015 – advanced professional training within the framework of the scientific and methodological seminar "Methods of Teaching at the level of Graduate and Postgraduate Studies in the Implementation of New Educational Standards" (Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation)

2015-2016 – Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of Plekhanov   Russian University of Economics.

2015-2017 – Professor of the Department of Civil Law of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation

2017 – legal adviser and chief expert of the private institution "Center of Arbitration Regulation and Legal Expertise" of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom".

2016-till present – Professor of the Department of Civil Law of the Kutafin Moscow Sate Law University. (MSAL).

2016-2017 – Arbitrator of the Arbitration Court for Resolving  Economic Disputes under the private institution "Center for Arbitration Regulation and Legal Expertise"

2017 – advanced professional training under the program "A Professor of a Law University: technologies and organization of activities" (Kutafin Moscow State Law University  (MSAL).

2017-till present – Arbitrator of the Department for Dispute Resolution in the Nuclear Industry of the Russian Arbitration Center under the ANO "Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration".

2018 Head of the Master's Program "Master of Private Law" in the North-West Branch of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University  (MSAL), Vologda.

In 2018, Dmitriy E. Bogdanov was appointed as an Editor-in-Chief of the academic law Journal "Lex Russica" (Russian Law) published by Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL). 

He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications devoted to different issues of civil law, including 6 monographs, 55 scientific articles published in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and journals recommended by  the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
